* February: Count de Broglie relieved of his duties and replaced by [[Nicolas Auguste de La Baume|Field-Marshal de Montrevel]]. More troops deployed.
* 26 February: The Camisards under Castenet massacred the inhabitants of [[Fraissinet-de-Fourques]].
