===FBI investigation=== In his role as the leader of Scientology, Miscavige has been the subject of law enforcement investigations, including by the [[Federal Bureau of Investigation]] (FBI), into suspected [[human trafficking]] and [[forced labor|slavery]].<ref name=Swa11/><ref name=Wri11/> He is also the subject of ongoing lawsuits involving [[child abuse]], human trafficking and forced labor.
