Summary
DescriptionYnglism symbol.svg
Symbol of the Russian branch of Rodnovery (Slavic Neopaganism) known as Ynglism (Инглиизм), or the Ancient Russian Ynglist Church of the Orthodox Old Believers – Ynglings (Древнерусская Инглиистическая Церковь Православных Староверов – Инглингов). It represents the Ynglia (Инглия)—called Yngly (Ингли, Инглъ) when personified—, the fiery radiance which regulates matter in the universe, begotten by the supreme God, which Ynglists name Ramha (Рамха, also spelled Ramkha). The force of Ynglia manifests itself in the visible astral sky as the north celestial pole, the pole star and the constellations spinning around it (the Little Dipper and the Big Dipper, part of Ursa Minor and Ursa Major), whose movements draw hooked cross-like patterns in the four phases of the year.
