English: The governing council of the New World Alliance meets in Phoenicia, New York, September 7, 1980. The Alliance was America's first national "New Age" or "transformational" political organization. From left to right, the back row consists of UC Berkeley professor Leonard Duhl; New Age Politics author Mark Satin; San Luis Valley Energy Center co-director Bob Dunsmore; Sirius Community co-founder Corinne McLaughlin; World Future Society journal editor Michael Marien, and Human Scale author Kirkpatrick Sale (speaking).
